Allocating to private real estate offers many benefits to investors, such as the potential for enhanced returns, exposure to a non-correlated asset class, and diversification. Larger institutions, pension funds and sovereign wealth funds have understood these qualities and have included alternative investments as part of their investment strategy.

From the data mentioned above, many of our participants do not own commercial real estate. However, it is encouraging to see 73% of participants plan to add private commercial real estate as part of a well-balanced portfolio.
