Fifth Wall

INNOVATION

Jamestown tech partner Fifth Wall has been airing a video series throughout COVID-19, interviewing real estate and technology experts for insights into the future of real estate. The “Fly on the Wall” series includes executives at Related, Hudson Pacific, Starwood, Kimco, JLL, and Eastdil, as well as proptech startup founders and category experts like Joseph Allen, a “Healthy Building” academic.

GROWTH

Framebridge opened at Westside Provisions District this month. On opening day, the retailer gave a free frame to the first 50 customers in the store.

SUSTAINABILITY

Volta EV charging stations will soon be installed in the parking lots of several Jamestown grocery-anchored shopping centers: Parkaire Landing and Parkside Shops in Georgia and Doral Commons and Village Commons in South Florida.

COMMUNITY

Buckhead Village District hosted a Summer Sidewalk Shop & Stroll featuring open-air shopping and dining, live music, and complimentary refreshments. Guests were invited to discover local vendor pop-ups curated by HERMARKET, a community and marketplace for woman-owned indie brands.
