Jamestown Invest - The Online Real Estate Investment Platform

Jamestown Invest, at its core, is an online real estate investment platform, where individual American investors, non-accredited or accredited, may purchase shares in a real estate investment trust (REIT) sponsored by Jamestown. Investing in a REIT like Jamestown Invest, which then invests in various commercial real estate properties, is different from investing directly into the properties themselves.

How does it work?

When you make an investment through Jamestown Invest, you are purchasing shares of a fund, such as Jamestown Invest 1, LLC. Your money is put to work straightaway in acquiring properties for the fund, such as Southern Dairies @ Ponce City Market, the first asset of Jamestown Invest 1, LLC.

Who can invest?

Due to Regulation A (or Reg-A) under the Securities Act of 1933, which went into effect in 2015, real estate investment trusts like Jamestown Invest 1, LLC are able to accept investments from qualified purchases, which includes both accredited and non-accredited investors, subject to caps, opening up investment to the general public. A non-accredited investor’s purchase may not be more than 10% of their annual income or net worth. At this time, you must be a U.S. citizen.


What is the minimum investment?

Jamestown Invest's minimum investment is $2500 in shares, or 250 shares based on the initial per share price of $10. The price per share is adjusted at the beginning of each fiscal quarter.
